Museum of Occupations and Freedom Fights

The museum is situated in the former KGB building, where the crimes of the Soviet regime were planned and executed for fifty years. Visitors can visit:

  • the former KGB prison,
  • the premises where death sentences were implemented,
  • modern exhibitions telling about the loss of independence in the middle of the 20th century, repressions by Soviet authorities, and the self-sacrificing and persistent fight for independence.

On the 5th of July the Museum will be open
from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

On the 6th of July, the National Day
(Coronation of Grand Duke Mindaugas of Lithuania),
the Museum will be closed

From July 3rd we are inviting you to book guided tours in our museum!

• We conduct guided tours for groups of up to 5 people
• All members of the group during guided tour MUST wear face masks

Tuesday closed
Wednesday 10 am to 6 pm
Thursday 10 am to 6 pm
Friday 10 am to 6 pm
Saturday 10 am to 6 pm
Sunday 10 am to 5 pm

Admission and other fees

30 minutes before closing the museum tickets are not sold
