Museum of Occupations and Freedom Fights

The museum is situated in the former KGB building, where the crimes of the Soviet regime were planned and executed for fifty years. Visitors can visit:

  • the former KGB prison,
  • the premises where death sentences were implemented,
  • modern exhibitions telling about the loss of independence in the middle of the 20th century, repressions by Soviet authorities, and the self-sacrificing and persistent fight for independence.

From June 3rd Museum of Occupations and Freedom Fights
will be open again
.

Requirements for museum’s visitors:

• Protective masks must be worn when visiting the museum
• Safety distance and hygiene rules must be observed
• The museum can be visited by groups of up to 5 people
• Body temperature will be measured for museum’s visitors

The following services are temporarily unavailable in/at the museum:

• guided tours are not provided
• Audio guide services are not provided
• there will be no educational activities



Opening hours of the museum:

Monday closed
Tuesday closed
Wednesday 10 am to 6 pm
Thursday 10 am to 6 pm
Friday 10 am to 6 pm
Saturday 10 am to 6 pm
Sunday 10 am to 5 pm

Admission and other fees

30 minutes before closing the museum tickets are not sold
